Green Hills Park is a 12 acre Metro park located next to John Trotwood Moore Middle School in Nashville, TN.

Park improvements since Friends of Green Hills Park formed in 2015:
  • The Green Hills Festival has been held for three years in a row - attendance in 2018 was over 1200 and we raised over $13,000.
  • Parnassus donated a Little Library that has been installed at the Park, and Parnassus regularly supplies books.
  • The Parks Department installed a water fountain.
  • Public Works built a $500,00 sidewalk in and alongside the park on Belmont Park Terrace.  In the southwest corner, a new entrance  and path were created.  In the northwest corner, a sidewalk now connects the park to Arden Place.
  • The landscape of the park has changed with the addition of grass berms for play and picnics.
  • Improvements to the wetlands have been planned, through a collaboration with the Cumberland River Compact and Lipscomb 's Institute for Sustainable Practice.
