First ever Green Hills Park Festival happening Sept. 17!  Get ready to raise money for park improvements, at a festival featuring great local food, drinks, and vendors; plus bouncy houses and games for kids put on by the Green Hills YMCA.  This festival is being put on with alot of help from the Alliance for Green Hills.  More details coming soon. Tell your friends and save the date!  Interested in having a booth?  Email friendsofghpark@gmail.com and let us know!  Interested in helping organize or have ideas for fun activities or vendors?  We'd love to hear from you.

Everybody knows that the tennis courts in Green Hills Park are sorely in need of resurfacing.  The Parks Dept. has announced that they will be resurfaced soon!  There is not a certain date, but it may be as soon as this summer.

Please take this survey!  The Parks Dept. is working on its master plan for all the parks in Davidson County.  Tell them what you want more of in our parks. For example, Green Hills does not have a single dog park.  It is not connected by foot or bike to nearby parks, like Radnor Lake or Sevier Park.  Make your voice heard!  http://www.nashville.gov/Parks-and-Recreation/Plan-To-Play.aspx

Fyi regarding the water fountain - Parks has been informed that the top fountain is not working. They have put in a repair order. They say that last time, balloons had been stuffed down the drain.  Hopefully, it will be working again soon.
