Have you noticed the new trees in Green Hills Park? Thanks to the hard work of volunteers and a grant from the the Conservancy for Centennial Park for Earth Day, we're replacing invasive plants with natives. But it's hard work! Can you support this cause? Donate at www.friendsofgreenhillspark.org or email [email protected] to volunteer. And come by our booth at Green Hills Park Festival on September 10 from 5-9 to learn more about the planned pollinator garden and other projects in the works! Have you seen the new sidewalk on Glendale? It runs along the old Monroe-Harding property. This will allow so many families to access Green Hills Park and JT Moore Middle School more safely. Friends of Green Hills Park is dedicated to improving our neighborhood park, building community & increasing walk and bike connectivity to nearby green spaces where we love to walk and play. We look forward to a day when greenways will allow everyone to safely connect on foot or bike from Green Hills Park to Percy Warner Park, Radnor Lake, and Sevier Park. Greenways of Nashville will be at Green Hills Park Festival this year - come tell them that you'd like to have those connections! |
