Festival updates, sidewalk construction starting this month, crape myrtles blooming, instagram

So many new activities and sponsors for the Sept. 15 Green Hills Park Festival!  Walk/Bike Nashville will be putting on a bike rodeo (skills and games for young bikers).  And, in addition to the movie that we will show when the sun goes down, we will have a separate trailer set up to watch that day's college football!

Belmont Park Terrace Sidewalk Construction
Construction will be starting very soon on the Belmont Park Terrace sidewalk that will go from Arden Place to Lone Oak. It will dip into the park for part of the way, to keep from knocking down trees that border the park.

Construction is expected to take 4 months.  Many advocated for the sidewalk to link all the way to Shackleford, but there are insufficient funds to reach that far right now.
