"Aren't we lucky." - Betty Brown, Nashville Tree Foundation's First President
*We live in an exciting city that's becoming more walkable and bikeable. *We live in a great neighborhood near a beautiful park. *We have a plan to improve the Park, so there will be a longer walking path and natural play areas (and we've already gotten a water fountain and are top of the list for tennis court resurfacing). *We have the first ever Green Hills Park Festival on September 17 from 4-9pm. More info here: https://www.facebook.com/events/255529468158391/ The festival is free to attend but we'll be raising $ and accepting donations for our neighborhood park. Can you make a donation today to support our beautiful park? Donations are tax deductible and will go directly toward the improvements. Donating now will get the ball rolling so that we can show festival attendees that we're on our way to making the improvements a reality. And can you forward this message/post to your friends, so they will know about the festival? Thank you.
We'll start at 4pm with games, food and drink. As dusk falls, we'll use a giant screen to show the Pixar movie "Inside Out." Here is a list of Festival activities, vendors & sponsors so far:
