Water fountain installed - Bike to Work day moved to Tuesday - logo contest continues - donation button

• Check out the new water fountain, installed within the last week!  It was already getting lots use last weekend with all the softball games. Thanks to Councilman Russ Pulley for working with the Parks Dept. to get this installed before the hot summer months get here.
• Bike to Work Day:  Due to expected severe weather, it's moved from Fri. May 20 to Tues. May 24 @ 7:10 a.m 

The Green Hills route for Bike to Work Day will start in Green Hills Park at 7:10 a.m on Tues morning. Meet us in the park and ride downtown to meet at the courthouse for bagels and coffee.  Here is the map of the route. (We basically take Belmont Blvd. all the way downtown).  Can you join us? rsvp to [email protected]

• There is still time to enter the logo contest. Your logo could be featured on our webpage and perhaps on t-shirts and bumper stickers.  The logo must be submitted electronically to [email protected] by June 1, 2016.  
• The donation button on our webpage is live - meaning that it is ready to accept contributions toward improvements in the park.  It accepts paypal or major credit cards.  We are a 501(c)(3), so all donations are tax-deductible.​  Feel free to try it out!

Parks recently replaced the broken swing with this similar shaped green swing.

The view from the playground shows how lush the playing fields are right now. Parks was grooming the infields this week.
